#1348

Pissing rain right now but when I signed up years ago it was hitting 40 degrees. Disgusting…and hence the username.

#1349

40 degrees HERE in Dublin?

Where can I sign up for that?

#1350

And where is now ?

#1351

Pennsylvania.

#1352

Playing any GAA there?

If yes, what club ?

#1353

Used to kick around a bit with Baltimore. Never played seriously, too old and too much travelling.

#1354

So then Comrade @dubinhell

How long ya been over there?

Pats or Genos’s

Describe Noo Joisey folk in 3 words.

Tayto or King?

Rich Tea or Digestives?

DeNiro or Pacino?

Last time you had to stand up in front of a judge/audience/family gathering & say a few words.

Most beautiful Irish county & why (apart from ours obvs)

Day spent at the beach or up in the mountains?

How often do you get home?

What 3 things irritate the crap outa you about Dublin, as soon as you get off the plane.

What urban planning/facilities etc does Pennsylvania in particular have or do well, that you wish Dublin had.

Last time you cried?

Blockquote How long ya been over there?

9 years in Pennsylvania, about 18years abroad in total. Time flies!

Blockquote Pats or Genos’s

Are they pizzas? Not a fan!

Blockquote Describe Noo Joisey folk in 3 words.

Worked with a few decent skins from NJ. place looks terrible though, like an industrialized Fettercairn.

Blockquote Tayto or King?

Either

Blockquote Rich Tea or Digestives?

Chocolate digestives

Blockquote Last time you had to stand up in front of a judge/audience/family gathering & say a few words.

Do that every day in work. Used to scare the bollix out oif me but you get used to it quickly.

Blockquote Most beautiful Irish county & why (apart from ours obvs)

Kerry. Scenery, music, locals are (usually) sound.

Blockquote Day spent at the beach or up in the mountains?

Mountains. Have had my fill of getting scorched to ■■■■ on beaches

Blockquote How often do you get home?

Twice a year.

Blockquote What 3 things irritate the crap outa you about Dublin, as soon as you get off the plane.

Negativity and the political system that has made the place close to unaffordable for normal people.
Hipsters, but thats more pity than irritation,

Blockquote What urban planning/facilities etc does Pennsylvania in particular have or do well, that you wish Dublin had.

None. Pennsylvania is a good example of what you get with little or no planning.

Blockquote Last time you cried?

Not sure, probably shed a tear at the All-ireland in 2011.

Blockquote
There’s a few and they’re used in front of everyone except the young fella. Most yanks don’t even notice it because of the “accent”

#1356

@dubinhell

Foles or Wentz

Are you assimilated now that you hate the Patriots :yum:

Are you actually into any US sports

If so , which

Is Trump an embarrassment or loved in your area

#1357

BLASPHEMY!!!

They’re cheese steak houses… And Geno’s is the answer!

#1358

Foles till he starts losing

I don’t hate the Patriots but I respect them and dislike them at the same time. A bit like the Kilkenny hurlers

I was huge into American football as a young fella, even played a bit while living in the UK, Not as big a fan now but it would still be my second sport after GAA. I like going to baseball games but would never watch them on telly.

I’m right in the middle of that state (between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia), he’s treated like a god here, even by f**kin’ eejits who stand to lose a lot.

#1359

I know…like WTF ??? :woman_shrugging:

#1360

There’s plenty of decent intelligent people that fall into that category as well.

There’s an appetite for change that Trump cleverly took advantage of.

#1361

@dubinhell has your own day to day life changed in any particularly significant way since El Trumpo was elected?

What’s the worst hell hole to transit thru on the way home… JFK, Heathrow, O’Hare or AN Other?

Favourite Disney cartoon.

Hersheys Kisses…terrible shite altogether, borderline edible, or they’ve actually grown on me.

Vegas or Miami?

Cowboy movie or WW2 flick?

Spandau Ballet or Duran Duran?

Have you read any of James Joyce’s bukes?

Ever been in a proper fight? With who? Over what? Who won?

Do you say tom-a-to or tom-ay-to?

#1362
