Very disappointed with that tipp performance. Never mind the ref, who made some very odd decisions, Armagh were the better team. Little things told a lot, tipp had a lot of passes that just never reached the intended receiver, some were very tired, some looked scrawny.
Armagh showed flashes of superior football ability and nous. Only flashes, mind, let's not get carried away here. Couldn't see anything today that suggested that either team would progress beyound the next round.
Tipp were virtually the same as they were against cork, good when they had the legs and the energy, but when that ebbed alll the problems of football playing a distant second fiddle to hurling came out. Division two will bring them on greatly next spring.
Crowd was better than I expected as well, lots of Armagh there which is a testimony to the motorways.
