I'd never question a managers decision regarding letting players go and bringing in new players as the majority only see what's happening on game days.
We know we aren't world beaters but can challenge the top teams consistently, But you'd have to ask serious questions on his tactics and burying his head in the sand. The Cork game last year was crying out for changes and a shift in tactics but he didn't budge at all.
I also don't expect our touch and skill levels to be executed as they would be in the Summer but last night our skills were terrible and it looked like we haven't done any hurling yet and he kept up the short game last night in a storm. I also understand why he try's the short puck outs but at least vary it up a bit and keep the opposition on their toes and put half of them long.
We are never going to get every best hurler in the county on the team due to football but at least get 80% of the best hurlers out and playing but it's not going to happen with this man in charge.
The worst thing about last night was that he threw the young lads under the bus after it to the press. He questioned the players performance but what about his own and also his own since he statered the job? He hasn't progressed at all.
