Well, at least they got another win and there was some semblance of a crowd in towards the end. Didn't go b cause the hurling crowd were going enmasse.
Lots of people who I know who wouldn't darken a gaa pitch till and all Ireland final were on he road to this one I noticed Saturday evening. Of course the reason was that they expected to thrash the cats, I remember similar league games post all Ireland defeats to them that I was at and the old stand would be half full with the rest of the place empty, even on a Saturday night. One neighbor stopped his car to ask if I was going and I said nope. "Ah tipp for the hurling and football for the dubs" he said, and when I said sure your footballers are playing there right now all he said was he hope they didn't ■■■■ up the sod.
Tipp fans are in general the biggest shower of event junkie wasters, bar none. It was a pity the cats didn't beat them and it's unheard of for me to back them swines either.
