For a good atmosphere I’d look for a nice club ground in Laois or Tipp with a small stand. They are there. Shanahoe in Laois is one I’ve been to. I’m sure there are some in Tipp. A few hundred people, maybe a thousand would create a great atmosphere and give it a real sense of being a final.
I’m sure the young lads will be delighted to play in Croke Park but there won’t be a hit of atmosphere in the place. And beyond friends and family no one is likely to go.
Slightly unfair on Cork as well as they have travel and food costs on top of the ticket.
But that’s just me.
