… but we can beat the top teams at u14 - u18, so we must surely have acquired a skill set sufficient to beat kilkenny at those age groups, if the lads start to specialise at adult level then is that not the time you’d expect them to close the gap rather then falling further behind?
I think there’s a lot of truth in the fact that without our very best 15 out on the field, which we don’t with defections, injuries, retirements and arguments, we just aren’t going to complete with the top sides.
How often have we beaten Kilkenny at minor level since 2000.
Kilkenny have won 11 Leinster minors in that period
Huge amount of mis information here as regards our underage statistics
2011 and 2012 are absolutely irrelevant because the cream of the crop was lost to football. They have become a footnote in history with an asterisk beside them . They guys we needed to play senior level were lost .
This years minor hurling team is the best we have ever had . Problem is we need five more like them.
They won the Arrabawn and beat Kilkenny at minor level . They are primarily hurlers and you could see it in Parnell park that day
They have a graph line of progression like no other underage team we have had .
Any sign of that list … Testing … Testing …anyone out there .
