To be honest I am not 'almost wishing', I am hoping they are beaten, as a one off win will prove nothing. However, I say that with the caveat that if they win the next one and perform very well in the following one then maybe, against all known evidence that I can see, we are going in the right direction.
I have said all along, that I am sure Cunningham knows a lot more about managing an inter-county team then I do, so you have to give some benefit of the doubt to him. But with each game the evidence against him comes more obvious. But, I am still totally open to be proven wrong, but I just cannot see it turning around.
As regards being a Dublin supporter, I don't think blind support is beneficial to anyone. I think everyone involved should be treated respectfully (I am not sure that has happened all the players, but that is another matter), and if Cunningham goes he should be thanked for his services (regardless of how much those services cost) and then we should move on - quickly.
