It’s about as inevitable as Derek McGrath being the next Dublin hurling manager was a couple of months back.
The GAA’s annual revenue is about €60 million. About 85% of that is redistributed back to clubs and counties. And that’s the way it’s going to stay until the majority of the membership votes otherwise. Some players will always be happy to play for the county. Cork and Limerick have already shown that.
And that’s before you get to the idea of transfers.
