Cluj 2 Dudelange 3 (Dudelange adavance 5-2 on agg.)

Beauty from Lee Griffiths :sunglasses:

HT Brondby 1 Genk 2 (Genk lead 7-3 on agg)

Brondby came out fast but Genk have been sparkling on the counter and took the lead through Ukrainian midfield maestro Ruslan Malinovskiy who scored yet another goal this season from outside the box beating Marvin Schwabe the keeper who could of done better. Brondby could of pulled one back when and should of in all honesty when Dominik Kaiser clipped the ball out wide to right back Johan Larsson who cut back for former Fulham man Lasse Vigen Christenson who dragged his shot just wide of goal. Genk then got their second goal when on a great counter as Leandro Trossard played a perfectly waited ball out to the right wing in behind for DR Congo wing Dieumerci N’Dongala who hit the ball into the roof of the net. Less than 2 minutes later the Danes pulled one back through Kamil Wilczek who scored one of the away goals in Belgium. Genk nearly got a 3rd when Tanzanian forward Mbwana Samatta when through but his effort night quite bent enough to the far post. Brondby nearly got it back to 2-2 but Ante Erceg had his shot blocked brilliantlt by Finnish international and left back Jere Uronen.

Match report naming 11 different players just once. Incredible!

Fond memories of his father Watt, qualified to play for Italy iirc

You hey - gotta no respect …

This means nothing to me…

Oh Vienna :microphone:

FT Brondby 2 Genk 4 (Genk progress 9-4 on agg.)

Very exciting 2nd half. The home side played like they believed they could score 4 goals to level the tie. All respect to Brondby and their head coach Alex Zorniger. Ante Erceg had an early chance stopped by Genk goalie Danny Vukovic behind for a corner. Then a long range effort from Wilczek the goal scorer from the first half was firmly pushed away by Vukovic. Eventually Brondby got their goal. A pull back cross from left back Anthony Jung (who the coach knew well from his time at Leipzig) flicked on off the head of Wilczek eventually coming to the back post for Johan Larsson who vollyed sweetly into the bottom left corner to make it 2-2. It can note be underestimated Simon Tibbling’s impact coming on. He probably should of started really. After a corner won by N’Dongala Genk got their 3rd away goal to seal the tie once and for all. Spaniard Alejandro Pozuelo with a good cross off a corner headed home by the towering presence of center back Sebastian Dewaest. His 2nd goal in Europe this season. Brondby nearly got a 3rd home goal when Ante Erceg threaded one through for Tibbling but Vukovic got out quickly to make a good save. On the other end Malinovskiy nearly had another free kick goal this season already with 3 but Schwabbe managed to get to it palming it behind for a corner. Genk got their 4th when Jere Uronen broke a potential attack up down the left for the hosts. Uronen on a few one twos got it ahead to Samatta who muscled out of the way young Brondby center half Joel Kabongo and finished past Schwabe to make it 9-4 on the night and send Genk empahatically into the group stages once again.

Not Van Man?

Him too … but I was trying to be upbeat …

Ufa Real, who have become very popular on here, held Rangers to a draw last night but the feckers still progressed.

Am hoping Celtic are drawn with Eintracht Frankfurt :crossed_fingers:

Celtic in with the 2 Red Bull owned teams

Dodged a bullet there not getting Cork City …

The Draw!
