Picked up a serous injury off the pitch a month ago. Will be gone for a good while.
Hatchet men? Get over yourself, Winters gave John a slap and John’s reaction was a bit over the top, got the red he deserved, no more no less.
Thought our lads put up a solid performance today ,10 under 21s started the game so future is bright
I wasn’t at game but from neutrals Sheanons blow had been reported as one of the dirtiest in a long time. I’ve no axe to grind with either player but if it was as reported to me he shouldnt see much action in 2017
Was Sheanon not sent off last year v Craobh for something similar ?
It was a striking offence, no doubt, but wasn’t even the worst foul in the the game to-day. Winters’ll be sitting a bit uncomfortable for a few days but it was far from what some people are claiming.
2 years ago, for being third man in.
Who’s the lads who were 30 plus for craobh out of curiosity ?
It was a particularly dirty blow as he he struck from behind. Both were pulling and dragging but I did not see Winters strike. I was also a nuetral watching that game.
As I have heard it striking from behind and no other neutral I have spoken to sawv Winters strike either, all saw Jostling.
I’d agree there west1 he was obviously sent out there to get into winters face and it worked unfortunaly.
Tom connolly was good for vins at wing back…o keefe decent at corner back…mcbride and conor burke showed glimpses. Conor ryan for craobh although slight has nice stickwork. In the other game kilmcud number 11 name escapes me is a good hurler…hayesalthough young and only came on as a sub can win ball and scored a few nice points…for na fianna currie scored a few nice ones as did burke. I enjoyed the first game…good level of skill although as someone else pointed out very few clean balls caught. Na fianna will be a force to reckoned with very soon.
Crokes 11 was Fergal Whitley, got 4 from play I think. On Dublin panel this year.
He’s definitely worth a look . But he is a current panellist already so not exactly new
Nope but good to see a young panelist going well, was it 7 or 8 from play the last day, and god knows we need half forwards.
Based on the last two games he’s worth a sustained run next season
Brigids and Winters can rightly feel aggrieved. Don’t know what the umpire was at. Right in front of linesman on terrace side too but he didn’t seem to see anything that went on the whole day.
A very poor display of officiating from all involved.
Hes bigger than i thought…still another year at u21…pace 2 sides and tries to catch the ball.
Where is o conghaile from Lucan (pardon the spelling) .didn’t see his name on the lucan team or subs.
Surely he could be a player of interest to giller or Kenny now that he is not on the football panel
