Dublin’s loss....Donegal’s gain

1994 to 1998ish, although I still travelled up there alot with work, up until about 2004. I was married in Dunlewey, reception in Danny Minnies.

Went up on a short break maybe 4 years ago, first time there in about 10, place is a shadow of what it was.

Ah Danny Minnies, great childhood memories!

The family post office was across the road but when my auntie Breege died (she was the postmistress), the PO moved up the road to the old Cope shop. My cousin Declan is now turning the house into a 5 bedroom en suite AirBnB rental.

Cycled around there through Dunfanaghy once. Stayed in a hostel in a converted railway carriage, great spot

I always knew you’d go off the rails …

But I’m still on the right track baby, I was just born this way.

Nathan & Co stop the infamous seven in a row. Donegal won the McKenna cup 1-16 to 1-12 tonight against Tyrone. Only caught the last fifteen minutes on a live stream but Mullins seemed to be playing in the half forward line. A better week this one for him than last!

Donegal doing a warm down at the moment before lifting the cup
