Dublin Intermediate Hurling Championship (IHC) 2018

You have to also consider access to these pitches i.e. ability to effectively operate a gate.

#207

Apologies. Balgriffin certainly much better than commercials

#208

Very limited parking for a county final.

#209

its ok for them when every other pitch is closed and repairing after a long year as it has lights and is pretty secluded. When pitches and weather picks up they move out of there asap to st claires

#210

Fair point.

#211

The consensus here is that there are numerous alternatives to Rathcoole. Maybe the DCB will see sense and re-fix , if not, im sure the eventual winners of this championship will hold Rathcoole dear to their hearts for a long time. The losers… definitely won’t!

#213

Congrats to Marks on beating Scoil and getting promoted to Senior B. Fantastic progress

#214

Still to play Cuala in the final, don’t they?

#215

Yeh, but their promoted.

#216

St. Marks 2-15 v 2-13 Scoill Ui Chonaill FT.

#217

Consensus doesn’t get fixtures played. Pitches do. Pitches that are available. There are many pitches in Dublin but very few that are available for use as a neutral venue. Those that are selected are selected because they are available.

#218

:+1:

#219

Who won the Junior B final today?

#220

That’s a great win for St Marks today against Scoil. Very impressive. Fair play…

#221

Cuala by 4 after extra time.

#222

@Boarddelegate1 how is it that Parnell Park has suddenly become available for a senior final replay on Sunday but was not available for the Intermediate final which is in Rathcoole on the same day so?

#223

Should be played as a curtain raiser to the Senior Final Replay

#224

of course it should. Maybe it will be now but fixing it for Rathcoole last week now seems unfair to both teams contesting this final.

#225

It’s a farce putting it on in rathcoole in the first place. On another note the u16 a hurling final is on nov 3rd in Parnell so the Leinster match must be in O’Toole Park.

#226

Couldn’t agree more with you all. Both teams deserve a proper venue for a county final. Fingers crossed the DCB listen to the fans and players of the hurling community and give them the 14:00 slot in Parnell Park before the senior county final.
