Yea this is the way it has been for a good while, but i'm more querying is that does the relegation competition start now? Or does it start after the 1st round of the "B" Championship?
My understanding was that the 1st round of the championship has 32 teams (some of them are Byes)
Then the 2nd round has the 16 winners and the 1st round of the B championship has the 16 losers (including all the Byes)
For the 2nd round of the B championship the 8 winners go into the B Quarter finals and the 8 losers (including again all the Byes) go into the relegation championship - at this point the Byes automatically win their games.
I think the 2 big questions are:
When does the relegation championship start? Is it after the 1st round of matches in the championship proper? Or is it after teams have already lost 2 matches? (i.e after the 1st round of B championship)
Will there even be a relegation from Inter since there are Byes in it? A couple of years ago in Senior didn't they scrap the relegation to get rid of the Bye left from Erins Hope?
