No my point was FF don’t pull on the ball is because instinct is to rise the ball, when the ground strike is better option. Having been involved with young lads team for last two years ( he’s currently u9s), I’ve seen first hand the emphases is on jab lift, roll lift, striking from the hand etc. These are all preparation for Air Hurling.
IMO there should be more time spent on basic skills of ground striking etc. and gradually move into skills of Air Hurling. That’s to my mind the core idea behind Camaint , PJ Troy etc.
