i accept that, but the problem is you are wandering into Bitter of Brazil territory here. last year he was saying how not all county boards could afford business plans and people putting them into place, and when I pointed out to him that I learned how to do it - for free - on a night course with FAS in Ennis he ran off.
My point is that Bitter and Roscommon CB have the same small town mindset in common to a certain degree. Its professional amateurism, almost an article of faith that you cannot do things in a professional manner, that it is to be scorned. Dublin gets pilloried for having international companies as sponsors because under GAA mythos you must only get sponsorship from local lads and therefore be beholden to the local rich builder who wants his relation on the team, or the local car dealership who happens to get picked has some relationship with officials who get a free car.
Ironically, Roscommon gets it in the neck by this element for the cheek of having a very good bus which is heavily sponsored/underwritten and actually returns a profit to the County Board.
