Mayo will try to play similar to last year’s final but add a bit more in attack somehow. It’s all about whether they can produce that level of intensity again. And if they get ahead in the last 15 minutes, have they learned how to hold it?
Where will the extra scores come from? Unless COC and Aido are better this year, and maybe they are, they need AOC to lift it. And can they hold PGeaney? And can they not self destruct with stuff like the goaly thing last year?
For Kerry, JOD needs to be fully fit and on form. If not then too much falls on PGs shoulders. Buckley can be very effective, again has been injury plagued. Barry will probably annoy the head off Aido, this is going to be the test for him that may define the game in some ways, and whether he can fulfill all the mad expectation of him.
As others have said, Kerry will do all the tactical fouling stuff at least as well as Mayo, but also will not make the sort of calamitous mistakes Mayo always seem to. Kerry will defend much tighter than in previous games
