Can we please close the Dublin v Donegal 2014 thread😈
So he can miss a gift-wrapped goal chance when we’re 5 up and turn the game into a hiding from the red-hands😬
I’ll reiterate - we changed the pattern of our play since October 2014. Gavin changed things and brought in Jayo for a start
I was only talking about backs, going forwards. It changed alot, going forward.
That’s backward thinking
No unfortunately some folk just can’t let go which is why every thread must revert back to that defeat and why why why why! To be honest if we could do completely ban it I’d be happy!
Think we have to introduce cards . Any mention of Dublin v Donegal 2014 game by a poster recieves a yellow card.
3 yellows and they can’t post for 2 weeks
Thanks works for me brother!
Can we have a DRA
How about a DNR?
You, Rochey and Alan can decide whether an appeal is successful.
Obviously you 3 lads would be very impartial, and the banned posters club allegiance wouldn’t come into it.
I’m staying on the 70s 80s thread until all talk of 2014 semi stops. At this point I can barely remember the game as I’ve never watched it back.
The fact that we won back to back All Irelands since should’ve long put that game to bed!
Mick deegan had a fair bit to do with new game plans
For me one of the biggest improvements in Tyrone this year is Morgan on his kickouts. I know Armagh conceded them but he does seem to have gotten more accurate. He seems to be a confidence player, the fist pump thing when he scores a point or pulls off a good save suggest this.
The FB line seem to have improved but maybe that is just due to the extra protection.
Colm Cavanagh has come out of his brothers shadow and is a key player for their system as is Harte and Donnelly.
I don’t think targeting or putting a focus on limiting their influence will weaken us as I think we have more options in the rest of the team to compensate for covering them off.
ROC spent most of the game at midfield. The only defender in our own half was Mick Fitz marking McFadden. Every other defender was dragged out by the Donegal players and Durcan hit his kickouts over everyone which left half of croke park free for them to attack. The goals we conceded that day won’t be forgotten any time soon. A dark day
What’s all this annoying ‘match discussion’ stuff? I’m suffering from ticket talk separation anxiety.
Peter Harte is the key for Tyrone, if he has a great game Tyrone could well win. A superb player, alot revolves around him
Here’s the 3 goals , first one was very unfortunate ,but the other 2 ???
Yep those 2 into the hill still give me nightmares
McFadden took about 13 steps for the last goal.
