Shanganagh Park a very hard place to go get a result at this stage of the year, very tough ask for Marks.
I know and understand the reasons why but the net result is there’s a promotion playoff in November. That’s tough on the players.
For me, Cuala to win it. Marks have had a tough but disappointing end to the championship season. Hard to pick it up for another match.
Agree, should be no hurling at all in November, December and January even February.
There’s enough time from March to October to get 11 league rounds played (often 2 games are played within 3 days of each other during the summer) and then a relegation and promotion final.
I’d argue that, on average, pitches are in better nick in November than they are in March and certainly February.
Depends on the year I suppose. Either way, more than enough time to get 11 league rounds played.
Cuala 0-11 v 2-18 St. Marks FT.
AHL3 for St. Marks in 2019.
Hard luck Cuala.
Fair play to Marks. That’s some turnaround from last week.
