Yeah, its clear if Whitehall don’t win their last game v Ravens, they are relegated and it’s Donabate v Erins Isle in the playoff.
But if Whitehall win, then the 4 bottom teams will all be level on 7 points and the results between themselves will be:
O’Tooles 4 pts +2
Erins Isle 3 pts even
Pats Donabate 3ps -2
Whitehall 2pts even
Logically, when looking at head-to-head involving more than 2 teams, you’d look at match results first then scoring difference second, in which case Whitehall would be down and Donabate and Erins Isle would playoff.
But someone told me that they thought the rule only mentioned scoring difference and match result was irrelevant! That would mean Donabate relegated and Isles and Whitehall in the playoff (assuming Whitehall beat Ravens first).
Anyone have the exact wording of the rule?
