they were still taking big beatings at the start of year though, so J1s not really an excuse, jacks a huge loss though, massive gap between div 1-2, tss probably the only ones that could compete in div 1 having there dub lads available
I can’t think back to TG you might be right. But they would always give you a game out there
Maybe that’s the reason for clontarf but they will have that issue every year.
Castleknock 1.11 Skerries 2.6
Syls 4.15 TD 1.12
Syls moving well.
Themselves or Brigids could shock one of the big two later this month.
Hard to know as likes of TD have had nothing to play /train for while now.
Seen them against Plunketts last week
All I’ll say is I can’t imagine TD are at anything
TD at nothing and started 3 minors I heard, you would imagine Syls had a break in August but aŕe going hard at it now.
Would love to see an upset but can’t see it. Syls get opened up far to easy when teams run at them. Is McCarthy still playing?
Brigids were walloped by johnstownbridge in a challenge game recently . Only Andrews missing
Hard to see it . Syls more likely in my view but I find it hard to believe they’ve improved defensively that much . So I expect normal service to be dished up
Is the Boden management gone ??
Hardly after one year ?
a rumour on the southside all adult football management gone but that could be total hot air. from observing the senior manager early in year I am not surprised if he was pushed rather than left
some gulf between Meath junior club football and Dublin senior club football …
Top 6 in Dublin is probably inter county management
However that was an impossible task following the previous management
Yep. Final round of Meath round robin last weekend. Was at a game featuring a few intercounty players - one team comfortably qualified for QF and myself and my ex-Vins attendee were commenting on the standard and fitness levels. Lets say it’s no surprise Meath teams have done nothing in Leinster. Last year’s finalists Ashbourne didn’t even make the QFs.
Were O’Mahony’s favourites at the start of that championship? They barely scraped through to the quarter finals, also.
Ratoath, Intermediate champions from two years ago, are looking strong along with Simonstown.
Summerhill are Dark horses, won everything underage, all them lads who have numerous 21s are in there prime now, won a couple of championships of late too.
Hard to know. Simonstown as champs will be there. Ratoath building since Inter win and will fancy their chances. Summerhill and Dunboyne going well and NOM still there. Knockout from now on so ya never know!
i know we’re not averse to meath club players on Dublin squads but do we need to put up a meath championship thread as now more dubs than natives in the county
Dunboyne a good side building, added a few lads from D15 could make a big difference for them this year.
