First round of games this weekend. Will many of the county players be released to play after the game on saturday? Maybe squad players 16 up and the lads that arent back to full fitness like Brogan, Connolly ??

Id tip Ballymun, Vincents, OPER and Na Fianna for the top 4 spots.

#3

Has there been new management appointed for vins yet does anyone know ??

#4

Greg Mc Gonigle ex Dublin Ladies is the new manager in Maurs

#5

Along with doing the Tyrone U21’s ?

#6

who needs work

#7

Gilroy I believe.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see another recently retired mayo forward don the blue and white later in the year.

#8

Heard gilroy was asked and turned it down

He certainly would be the stand out candidate as vins don’t go outside for managers

Ex mayo !!! Is mortimer going to stay in Dublin then ??

#9

Scratch that
Morts is not a recent retirement

#10

He trains with them often enough . I heard Gilroy turned it down too. Not surprised.

#11

Nobody appointed yet in vincents. Probably takes a bit longer since it’s unlikely to be paid position.
No real rush as winning in AFL1 is irrelevant for top 4 or 5 who are only focussed at SFC in September , once you pick up few wins to stay away fro lower half.

#12

I’d have crokes ahead of most the four you mentioned.

#13

Water polo is all that will be on this weekend

#14

Ye I’d say a good few games be off. Prunty pitches and Astro will be the only games going ahead

#15

AFL 1 St Vincents v St Sylvesters OFF (both sides pitches unplayable)

#16

So what games on and off

#17

is Freeman retired or actually dropped off

#18

Retired. Started against Monaghan sure in Mayo’s first league game.

#19

Davis 3-14 plunketts 3-11

Plunketts with a very strong team out, there full back line was destroyed by sallier, Farrelly and Hudson.
Bernie scored 2-2

#20

Brigids Maurs - draw.
